There is a certain sense of excitement… to get a midday email from a special person… from a person of interest.  Doesn’t matter what it says… from a simple ‘Hello‘ to a detailed account of something meaningful or superficial… It’s exciting.  It makes the mundane more colorful, the unpalatable incredibly flavourful.  It’s inviting to me – escapism at its best. 

It’s enough to make my day.  Its such a small thing… but it means so much more.
